We have had even more feedback this year &.... Even Better !!Rated 99% on Runners World.... It doesn't get much better! We recveived hundreds of lovely emails (THANKS GUYS!) and not one bad email amongst them, Runners are such nice people !! Below are a few links and just a small selection of some of the comments ..... Thank you to all who took the time to email me These really are just a very small selection of email comments..... Adrian, Great job really enjoyed it, thanks to everyone.ColinHiI drove up from Huddersfield on Sunday and ran my first Mad Dog. I just wanted to congratulate you on such excellent organisation for this event. The instructions were clear, t-shirt collection easy, people were friendly, the goodie bag excellent, and I was hugely impressed to get my time within a couple of minutes of crossing the line!! I will be telling all my running friends to make sure they come next year! Thanks again. Vikki Thanks Adrian - it was amazing! Great race, all the work you put into this is much appreciated!AnnaHi would like to thank you for a great day. I Must of ridden and watched hundreds of bike races over the years and competed in 10 Great North Runs and 7 Great Manchester runs, I don't think anything came close to today's Mad Dog 10k. Well done to organisers, helpers, sponsors etc.Around 2400 runners shepherded around no problem, drumming band at fairway, Elvis under the pier, totty singing at the Floral, goody bag and massage if you wanted. Fantastic. Kindest regards Kevin Hi Adrian The run yesterday was fantastic. The organisation and whole atmosphere was brilliant. Got to the Hesketh at around 3.15 and all mad dogs had unfortunately gone and couldn't get you a deserved pint. However my brother, brother-in-law and myself wore our shirts with pride. Many thanks again for all your efforts and will see you next year. Cheers Gary Hi AdrianJust so say thank you so much for a smashing race yesterday.I did not come over and say hello as you were so busy and then at the end there were so many other people wanting to say hello.I had a great race, I had been working hard in my training and managed to do the run in 1 hr 3 mins 32. I was no 815 in the race and could not believe my time. This was only my second race and in Dec the other race I did at home I was 1 hr 7 mins 48. I am over the moon and will definitely be back next year. All my family came over from Bolton to watch and were very impressed as were my club runners in Telford. I am still in the beginners group and cant wait to go to training tomorrow night and tell them all about it. They have asked me to do a race report for the clubs website!!!!!!!What a way to celebrate my 54th birthday. Thank you so muchKind regards Jennifer Adrian Just a quick note to say 'thank you' for a great event. This was my first 10k and I have to say that it was excellent, hard but excellent. Everything from the registration to crossing the finishing line was very well organised. I will definitely be doing it again next year. Regards Mary I have just returned from Southport, my son ran in the 10k and my 6 year old grandson was down to run in the Crazy pup and even his crazier grandfather was going to run with him. Unfortunately or fortunately for me he was not too well on Sunday morning so had to withdraw.I came as a spectator and although I cant remember how long ago it was I felt that cold, (out of your control) I have to say a great big well done to you all that organised the event, everyone was so helpful and polite. I asked if my grandson could have a goody bag and you graciously furnished me with one that certainly took him out of his upset for not being well enough to take part. Thank you all once again, a great event well organised and friendly. Warmest regards, Mike Adrian,Thank you, once again, to you and all of your team for putting on another great event yesterday.I echo my comments of last year, in that the organisation was spot on, both in the build up to the race (I always look forward to the humorous emails!) and on the day itself, the marshals who are some of the friendliest I have experienced, and the runners themselves who were again a really good bunch. As for value for money - I really don't know how you manage to squeeze so much out of such a low entry fee. The t-shirt, the medal, the goody bag, the quality of the overall event itself.all top drawer.Hopefully you have managed to stay sane having put this on for a third year, and you'll be back again next year as this event has now become a staple of my (and my old man's) running calendar. James Hi Adrian, I hope that you are at last getting some rest ! A quick thank you for a great time this morning. A good start for the XtremeStorm preparation.......although a bit of weight loss is now high up on the list !!Could have done with that 45 seconds to get under the 50 mins :-)Cheers,Stuart..Hi AdrianJust wanted to say thank you for all your hard work and that of the volunteers for yesterday's event. Really enjoyed the whole thing! Andy (wheelchair participant) Hi Just a quick thank you for yesterday’s Mad Dog 10k. Brilliantly organised, and I’ve no doubt the support of the stewards, singers and drummers played a big part in getting me round in exactly 49 minutes when my previous best was over 51 minutes! Thanks and see you next year. Gary Dear Adrian My first MadDog 10k but def not my last!Needless to say more buses were needed (wait ages for one and then 3 come along together!) but otherwise was brilliant. Fantastic organisation, brilliant suppoort and music on the course despite the weather and a very fast course to boot. Many thx to all the organisers and look forward to next year.btw I forgot to pick up my T shirt at the end (had a bus to catch!). If I send you the postage could you possibly send it to me? Many ThxDave Hi AdrianA big thankyou to you and your army of helpers.Mad Dog just gets better and better- the livemusic ( specially the drummers) were brill.Michaela xps think you deserve a quiet holiday !! Hi Adrian, I just wanted to drop you a quick email to say thanks for you and your team for your organisation of yesterdays race.Forgetting the issues with the parking when councils are involved anything can happen!!The organisation and letting everyone know about the delays was top drawer. From my point of view the good points of yesterday:-The pre-race info and emails - informative and amusing! The t shirt! The medal and goodie bagThe course - nice and flat!. I'm from Yorkshire, I'm not used to no hills! The bandsThe marshalls and cadets and general support on the courseValue for moneyThe dog related signs up around the start! The bad points The parkingThe weatherBoth the above were clearly out of your control!!!All in all, I really enjoyed the race and would recommend it to anyone and hope to be back next year!!! Overall rating Canine out of ten! Thanks again Ian
